I'm a bilingual German state-approved translator of scientific papers, with 20+ years of corporate work experience as a digital communication & -channels expert; and an advocate, mentor and coach for neurodivergent colleagues.
Work and Life experience
My LinkedIn profile is very thorough and complete and contains a lot of additional information, such as recent recommendations, certificates, voluntary activities and an experience profile.
My neurodivergence*
I am neurodivergent myself, which is very positive for the work I do. I have above-average IQ and EQ scores and a talent for fast pattern recognition and attention to detail. In addition, I have adapted my daily work routine according to my strengths and weaknesses profile, so that I can ensure optimal productivity, reliability and efficiency.
This qualifies me particularly well as a research assistant and a coach or tutor for neurodivergent people in education. This was also the focus of my Bachelor's thesis (see below). My work as an advocate for neurodivergent people is important to me, as you can see from the articles I have published on LinkedIn, among others, and which my company has published about me:
Information on my thesis research
My Bachelor Thesis received 100% and I've since rewritten it into a paper which got published by the Journal of Higher Education Theory and Practice ( JHETP, 25(5). DOI: 10.33423/jhetp.v25i5.7950):
"Exploration of changes in autistic adult's digital learning experience in higher education after the shift in digital teaching technology since 2021"
The unprecedented uplift in both digital teaching technology and its expert use by instructors should have improved this learning experience for autistic adults. My eight interviewees confirmed this hypothesis.
The insight how barriers and facilitators in this experience have changed for autistic adults, can help institutions of advanced learning to further improve their measures of inclusion and support for autistic students.
